I am delighted to announce that StriveX will be the sponsors of the "StriveX Essex League" for the 2026/27 season. The sponsorship will take the form of prizes for each Division winner. The winner of the overall Open Doubles will receive £300 in cash. 

We will be using StriveX shuttles for our finals day matches and for our Women's Doubles matches. 

We encourage clubs to take a look at the StriveX shuttles, and can order a trial pack of six CS100 shuttles and six CS200 shuttles for £25 including package and postage. As an additional incentive divisional winners can receive a £150 voucher for equipment if they have used StriveX shuttles for their home matches during the season. 

The make up of the competition is now published on the website and fixture secretaries are able to start confirming dates.

Redbridge are recruiting a new Performance Coach to join their team.

• Experience of successfully coaching and overseeing Performance programmes and County / National level players.
• Have a minimum of a Badminton England level 2 Coaching qualification.
• Be working towards or gain the Badminton England level 3 qualification
• Attended a Badminton England recognised child protection course (within the last 3 years)
• Have a current membership of the Badminton England Coaching Register
• Successfully completed and hold a current DBS check from Badminton England 

Huge congratulations to Nikhil Pulikkottil, who took all three titles at the U15 National Championships just before Christmas. Winning any National title is an amazing performance so to get the Grand Slam of titles is quite amazing.
