Please note that we have booked Redbridge for a Grand Finals Day on Sunday 6th June. This will decide the winners of the Open Doubles and settle promotion and relegation issues. Teams should plan accordingly.

I will be stepping down from my role as League Secretary at the end of this season, and Badminton Essex is now looking for a successor.
The role is central to keeping the league running smoothly, and it’s a great way to contribute to the badminton community in Essex!

Unfortunately, Redbridge Raptors have had to withdraw from Essex League Open Doubles Division 4 with immediate effect. All remaining matches of theirs will be forfeited.
We had opportunities recently to present trophies to the Essex League winners. They are quite large, and some of them go back to the 1960s.
The Essex League divisions for the coming season have been announced and are available on the Competition page. With a few more teams joining the Open Doubles we now have 4 divisions.
