Represent Essex in the Senior County Championships
I will be stepping down from my role as League Secretary at the end of this season, and Badminton Essex is now looking for a successor.
The role is central to keeping the league running smoothly, and it’s a great way to contribute to the badminton community in Essex!

All players should ensure they have the Spond mobile app installed and are in the Essex Badminton group https://www.spond.com/invite/NTUAL -- we will be using this to gather availability before each match weekend and announce the final teams 3 weeks in advance.

The Essex Senior Restricted tournament was played over the weekend (21st / 22nd Sept) and there was lots of great games.

Three of our teams will kick the season off at Basildon Sports Village
UPDATE: the first and second teams will now play at Chelmsford County High School on 9th November.

This process is designed to give transparency over the selection of players. Often the team that we would like to pick is not available and we have to make adjustments. We will always try to pick the strongest team available considering all the criteria.
Essex currently enters four teams in the Senior County Championship.
The schedule for matches follows the usual pattern with dates in November, January and March.
